Forties Family Experience Weekend — Bushey Hall — 12th / 13th April 2008

Hello Playmates Everywhere,
Just to say a big "THANK-YOU to EVERYONE who helped make the Forties Family Experience Week-end 2 such a great success

The Event was a success in every sense — attracting more stallholders, re-enactors and period costume wearers, more members of the public and making more money than previous shows for our children's charity.

Particular thanks needs to go to all our volunteers — especially Frances Try and Theresa McRea who worked so hard in the NAAFI Cafe.

A "Danke shune" to Dave Cooke of KP1 who co-ordinated the presentationof all the Axis (German) Re-enacator groups.

Thanks also to all the centre staff, board members and volunteers who worked so hard on the event — giving up their weekend to help.

But — don't forget — our 1940's house is open on the last Sunday of EVERY month and re-enactors and the public are welcome to attend.
